Triplify: A Search, Compare and Sort Engine

The other day I came across a search engine called Triplify. It is a new search engine for finding and comparing top results for the keyword you entered to its search bar. Triplify, which, as the name implies, helps to simplify the trio search engines so that you can search, compare the search results. Of course, its objective is very simple, with the keyword you entered, you’ll know the top results for the keyword in these three search engines that are Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft’s Live Search.

On Triplify, the search results rendered are similarly to any other meta search engine. For the keyword you entered on Triplify, it will show the top results from first (1) to sixteen (16) position as generated from the three search engines aforesaid. Perhaps there are no shortage of startups that want to do things differently with an aim hope to stand out of the crowd. With Triplify, you’ll find no hassle to go for these top results from scouring Google, Yahoo! or Live Search one by one, you can get these results mixed together in its one-page format.

Triplify, as I see it, is a new search engine that trying to grab a small slice of the search engine pie. For some that have a habit to compare their sites or products on how they are performing against some keywords, this Triplify will definitely appeal to them. Since the search results are rendered in a one-page format, it is also most suitably for some that want to solely scour for top results appeared.

ATUNN is a newly launched search engine on the Web.

On the front page of ATUNN, you’ll find a variety of services such as mail, music, movies, news & newspaper, games, social networks, IM, language tools, and applications. Click on any of these will load a page of the external URL links to different startups that offered that particular service. It is a bit look like meta search engine, but indeed it is not.

ATUNN want to act as a search engine that covers a lot of stuff. In its straight-forward slogan, “All That U Need Now!” it tried to maximize its value through building a lot of external URL links in its back-end programming. However, maximizing a new search engine’s value through variety of external Web pages is often seen as inefficient, lack of focus, and even anti niche. But credits given to them on its sleek design and fast loading.
