There is no dearth of third-party Twitter services one can find on the Web. For the Twitter directory, probably you’ve heard of this WeFollow since it has been getting a lot of buzz when the site went live in March last month.
WeFollow, as the name suggests, is a Twitter directory comprised of all the tweeters that we (tweeters) might follow for their updates. On the front page, you can either view tweeters by tag or you can add yourself to the tags that you see fit. To add yourself to WeFollow, you’ll need to login with your Twitter account and you’ve the options of choosing maximum three (3) tags which your profile is searchable under these three tags. On the upside, all the Twitter profiles tagging under each different tags help us to find the new interesting people to follow in addition to increase the reach in terms of number of followers in the Twittersphere as a whole.
Currently, WeFollow houses all the tweeters under the tags that more than one can count for. So, if you had a small number of followers in your Twitter account and you choose to list under the popular tags, you’ll find yourself failed to get notice and trailed by an extremely big gap between your page where your profile sits and the first page. Nevertheless, it’s no doubt that WeFollow is a successful Twitter app since new tweeters are being added to the site every day, and every Twitter profile and each of the links under the profile is superbly organized.
